The International Journal of Computer Science Research (IJCSR) is committed to the long-term preservation of its published content. This policy outlines the strategies and procedures in place to ensure the ongoing accessibility and integrity of scholarly articles published in the journal.

Preservation Formats

IJCSR will preserve its digital content in multiple, well-established file formats to minimize the risk of obsolescence or data loss. The primary preservation format will be Portable Document Format (PDF) with text encoding that ensures long-term readability. Additional file formats, such as XML or plain text, may also be considered for future-proofing purposes.

Storage and Archiving

IJCSR will employ a combination of storage solutions to ensure data redundancy and minimize the risk of data loss due to hardware failure or technological obsolescence. This may include:

  • Local storage on secure servers with regular backups
  • Cloud storage with reputable providers offering robust data security and redundancy measures
  • Depositing content in national or international digital archives

All of our electronic content (website, manuscripts, etc.) is stored on two sources. Content on one server is online and accessible to the readers. The copy of the same content is kept as a backup as another source. In case of failure of one server, another source can be made online and website expected to be accessible within less than 48 hours.

Access and Dissemination

IJCSR aims to provide long-term, open access to its published content. Articles will be available through the journal's website and may be deposited in relevant open access repositories. IJCSR will employ strategies to ensure discoverability of its content through metadata indexing and registration with scholarly databases.

Review and Update

This digital preservation policy will be reviewed periodically to reflect evolving technological standards and best practices in digital archiving. The journal will consider input from stakeholders, including authors, editors, and librarians, during the review process.
